I had to start all over again. Living a flashy lifestyle at the time and suddenly losing much money, I had one month to make $5000 to cover my bills at the end of the month.
I had to think fast and make money quickly, or I was set to lose everything I’d worked so hard for over the years.
We’ve all been there, wondering and worrying about where the money will come from quickly. But it doesn’t help to worry, stress and complain. What is needed in times like these is action!
Today I want to share with you how I made well over $5000 in that particular month with no money to spend and time playing against me.
Here’s how you can make upwards of $200 by tomorrow. Note that this is not a get-rich-quick scheme but requires hard work and persistence.

Freelancing.
Now, if you’re thinking, “great, I already know about freelancing,” or, “this is not what I had in mind,” then bear with me.
Whether or not you are familiar with freelancing online, it’s a great way to make a ton of money very fast. It requires zero investment, a small amount of time to set up, and thousands of jobs to choose from every day, no matter your skill level.
Personally, the most I’ve made freelancing in a single day was $900 for an editing job that took me three hours to complete. The average amount I made per job was between 200 and $300.
Sure, setting up and bidding on jobs suited to your skill level takes some time, but the earning potential is enormous. If you need money fast and are not afraid to work for it, then freelancing should be the first thing to consider.
Here are three great freelance sites you can join free of charge and start earning money today:
In that order, I’ve made the most money from Guru in the past, followed by Upwork and Freelancer. I suggest joining all three sites since there are no costs involved with setting up your profile and bidding on jobs.
Take some time to set up a professional, great-looking profile. This is very important if you want to maximize your earnings.
Consider what you can offer potential employers and list all your skills and variations on your profile.
Choose a clear, professional-looking photo as your profile pic, so employers can see that you mean business. No shades, no bathing suits (lol).
Wearing a nice suit jacket, button shirt, or pretty dress if you’re female will get you the best results. You can't go wrong if you look neat in your profile pic.
After your profile is set up, it’s time to start bidding on jobs you feel would be worth your time. Again, look for employers who have already spent money on these sites and avoid placing bids on assignments if you see the employer has not previously hired freelancers.
With free accounts, you generally only get a small number of bids per month, so make use of them as best as possible.
If you can afford to buy more bids, do so, you’ll make it back 10-fold if you keep bidding, trust me.
Check all three accounts daily for new job postings and bid on them as soon as you see them.
When bidding on a job, especially when you’re just starting, always read the job description thoroughly, as some employers will hide text to quote in your proposals.
Something like: “In your bid, please include the phrase: ‘I like peanuts.’”
Failure to do so will have your bid rejected immediately, so watch for that.
When writing your proposal to the employer, remember always to be polite and professional and showcase your skills related to the job to show the employer why you are the best person. Sell yourself!
If you don’t have any feedback or reviews on your freelance profiles yet, also mention that you would do the job for a discounted fee (doesn’t need to be discounted, say you’re new and are doing this for ‘lower than you normally would’ to get feedback when the job is completed).
There are many jobs with people who want a job done today, which can pay up to $500 or more if you are lucky. So finding one for $50-$150 is a bit more realistic in most cases, but they are exceptions, so I suggest creating a profile on Guru, Upwork, and Freelancer.
This will give you more opportunities to find good jobs to bid on, as well as more free bids.
Freelancing is the fastest way to make money online, without a doubt. Unfortunately, as many websites claim, you can press the no magic button to make money online. If you want to make money online, you must work for it. And freelancing is the way to go if you need money fast and don’t have much time.
Moving on…
Contrary to popular belief, you can make much more than five dollars at a time from Fiverr. This is a great site that thousands of buyers visit daily to get small jobs done for them. It’s also free to set up and requires no costs to you for advertising your services to a massive audience.
You can set up different package types ranging from five dollars to $1000 or more if you wish. The prices you set for each tier are up to you, so the earning potential is enormous.
If you’ve looked around on Fiverr, you will notice people charging big money and having multiple orders in the queue, meaning there is great consistency in earnings should you promote the right offer at the right price.
I suggest setting up various services to ensure you are seen when someone searches for a job. Use keywords that best suit your offers to maximize the chances of your offers showing at the top of search results on both Fiverr and Google.

Don’t write Fiverr off, there is a mountain of cash here, and it’s straightforward to get your slice of the pie if you take some time to make your offers appealing.
Shoutcart
If you have a large Instagram or Twitter account, you can make money on a site called Shoutcart. If you’ve never heard of this site before, Shoutcart is a platform where you can sell sponsored posts for a set fee.
This means people are willing to pay anything from 50 to $4000 to promote their site, product, or service on your social media account. Of course, this amount depends on how many followers you have and how well your followers respond and interact with your posts. So no bot accounts; that won’t make you a dime.
You're in the green if you have more than 1000 followers on either Twitter or Instagram, and your posts get liked and shared a lot. If your social media accounts meet these criteria, you can make lots of money on Shoutcart, so check it out.
Shoutcart is also free of charge, but you need a large following (1000+) to get approved and make it work. So if you’re not there yet, ignore this one; you can always return to it later.
Local clients
If you have a product or service that you can sell, I want to share one of the most effective ways to make fast and easy money today.
