SocialAdr Review – Do Free Bookmarks Work for SEO?

So I’ve decided to try out the SocialAdr Free Account as a social media marketing tactic in order to increase exposure for my sites, services and products, -and wrote this SocialAdr Review to report my findings.

Since I always try out the free version before buying anything (if available), I can see if a program works before I decide to invest some money in it. When it comes to bookmarking sites, I’d rather stick to sites like SocialAdr rather than using a software and here’s why…

Why SocialAdr is Better than any Bookmarking Tool

First of all, you get the option to use SocialAdr for free which is great. But what makes it better than other well known bookmarking tools like BookmarkingDemon back in the day, which sold for for $147, is the fact that you won’t violate Google’s policies by creating worthless bookmarks that won’t get seen. What’s more, is that...

Your bookmarks will get shared by REAL people with REAL accounts!

According to Google, social media exposure is the future of SEO, so needless to say SocialAdr is definitely something you need to add to your arsenal of promotional tools. Since your bookmarks will get shared voluntarily it all adds up in the eyes of the major search engines and will give you much more credit than any other bookmarking tool.

I used to use the Lazy Free account (which you can get for $15p/m) so I don’t have to log in each day in order to earn points manually by submitting bookmarks, Tweets, etc.

Another BIG Plus about SocialAdr is that it gives users the option to also Tweet, Like (Facebook) or +1 (Google Plus) your bookmarked URLs. Check out another “SocialAdr Review” from a user below:

I love this site, the creators of Socialadr clearly know the importance of social media and made an easy-to-use tool that is immensely powerful to say the least. Definitely a must-have!

Does SocialAdr help you Rank Higher on Google?

Honestly, not really. However, I’ve received some pretty decent traffic coming from shared bookmarks as these accounts are 100% and have genuine followers that your bookmarks get shared with.

From and SEO standpoint, even though these are solid backlinks, don’t expect your rankings to jump to the top of the search engines because it’s unlikely. Not impossible, but unlikely. Why is this?

Well you see, Google have caught onto bookmarking sites due to tools like Senuke and BookmarkingDemon that creates tons of spammed pages.

The result is that you now get less credit from search engines from bookmarking sites as opposed to a year or two ago. However, if Google sees that these are REAL people sharing your bookmarks, they’re more than likely to up your rankings.

How to get Higher Rankings with SocialAdr?

Even though you can use the free version to share thousands of bookmarks, there’s a much more effective way to do so. For this you will need a paid account, which will allow users to share your bookmarks using Tweets, Facebook likes and Google +1s.

These 3 sites in particular are the most important for your social media marketing and especially for your rankings. Google is giving links on these sites MUCH more credit lately, so a paid SocialAdr account is definitely something worth looking into.

SocialAdr Review Conclusion – Difference Between Free and Paid Accounts

As opposed to the free accounts, paid SocialAdr accounts will allow others to share your bookmarks with Tweets, Likes and +1s. This gives you a lot more social exposure and will push up your rankings and authority much faster.

A paid account will also allow you to give your bookmarks a “submission boost”, which costs 20 credits for sharing your bookmarks to 20 additional sites, so that’s also a huge bonus.

I highly recommend this service, it’s a nice way to get the word out there. There’s only one downside to the paid versions though. You’re limited by how many bookmarks can be shared depending on the plan you chose. I’ve got the “Lazy Free” account and it only allows me to submit 200 bookmarks for each URL, which is still great.

I find it a bit sly however, because if you want to submit more bookmarks for that specific URL, they want to charge you $97 per year for unlimited submissions. It might be worth it, but I would’ve liked it if they could have included this.

And that’s my $0.02, hope this SocialAdr Review helped you make up your mind. Try a free account today to check it out yourself.
